You will probably have heard by now that Sainsbury’s have acquired the Budgens store in Bishops Waltham.
They intend to close from the end of August for a complete refit. The closure could be for 12 weeks.
From September we are asking that all food donations are brought to the Youth Hall on a Tuesday before 1 p.m. The 1 p.m cut off is to give us time to sort and store the food ready for making up parcels in the following weeks.
We have written to Sainsburys asking that they continue to support us with an in-store donation trolley. Hopefully we will know more as we get nearer to the reopening.
