The Mayor of Winchester, Councillor Patrick Cunningham and his wife Mrs Joy Cunningham visited the food bank on the 28th July to find out how we were coping in the current crisis and to thank the volunteers for their efforts.
We were able to show him around the youth hall and explain our ongoing dilemma with lack of space. Mike showed them the newly delivered storage container (pictured left), provided by Philspace, which has helped provide some desperately needed additional storage.
They also met with Jane Perrott, who runs things on a day to day basis, and Beryl Williamson, who was duty manager for the day (pictured above on the right).
