In recent weeks we have been asked to support Ukrainian families who are settling into life here in the Meon Valley.
We have signed up to several local initiatives and are in the process of producing leaflets in Ukrainian and Russian explaining how families can get support. The leaflet will also be in English so that host families can provide much needed encouragement and guidance.
None of us can really comprehend what it must be like to leave behind your home and loved ones. All we can do is stand with them and pray. Pray for the end to the senseless violence and destruction and for everyone, young and old, whose lives have been scarred by this war to understand that they are loved and that we care.
