Latest updates and important changes to how we operate the foodbank

At the start of April we were overwhelmed by the number of people needing our support and consequently ran short of some key items. Thanks to the amazing support of an army of volunteers responding to our calls for help, stocks in the food bank are almost back to normal levels.

Please see our weekly stock alerts for items we are running low on or follow us on twitter for the latest updates.

In order to keep operating, we have taken the difficult decision to only accept referrals emailed to us by our referral agencies.

Home delivery only
To protect both our volunteers and the people we help, we have moved to a home delivery service only.  From a public point of view the food bank will be closed on Tuesday for the foreseeable future. Staff will be working inside, taking necessary safety measures, processing orders and preparing them for delivery.

Donate online
You can donate online through the website. We are now purchasing food wholesale using the cash donations received. This has been a fantastic help and allowed us to maintain stock levels.
